As part of the continued efforts to ensure a safe, caring, and socially just educational experience for students, the following are some resources available for students, families, and staff. of the two-spirited, lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender communities or those who may identify as queer or questioning (2SLGBTQ+). The resources below offer advice and support to both individuals and their loved ones:

Egale – Canada Human Rights Trust
Parents of Trans and Gender Diverse Kids – A welcoming and affirming peer support group for parents of trans, two-spirit and gender diverse children, youth and adults. Partnered with the Trans Youth Group for youth 12-18 yrs.
Additionally, through the establishment of GSA initiatives throughout Newfoundland and Labrador schools, the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development has provided the following document full of potential resources for LGBTQ individuals and families to access services within the province:
